Information the application uses
The application may process Google OAuth access and refresh tokens; YouTube channel and video identifiers; titles, descriptions, publication status, and upload timestamps; owner-only YouTube Analytics for videos uploaded through the application; public YouTube metadata used for trend research; and locally generated scripts, evidence briefs, images, narration, captions, rendered videos, quality reports, run logs, and publication schedules.
The application does not request or store the operator's Google password.
How information is used
Information is used only to authenticate the operator, research public metadata, create and manage original videos for the connected channel, measure campaign performance, prevent duplicate topics, enforce quality controls, diagnose failures, and improve future content decisions.
YouTube API data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with data brokers.
Storage and security
The application is locally operated. OAuth tokens, run records, generated media, schedules, and Analytics snapshots are stored on the operator-controlled computer. Secrets are excluded from version control. The refresh token is used only to obtain short-lived access tokens for the authorized scopes.
The operator is responsible for securing the computer, its backups, and access to the application directory.
Retention
- Public research snapshots older than 28 days are automatically removed.
- OAuth credentials are retained until access is revoked or the local token file is deleted.
- Video, run, schedule, and Analytics records are retained until the operator deletes them for operational or recordkeeping purposes.
Sharing and service providers
YouTube API data is sent to Google only as necessary to use Google OAuth, YouTube Data API v3, and YouTube Analytics API. Locally generated content may be processed by locally installed generation and media tools. The application does not intentionally transmit YouTube API data to unrelated third parties.
Operator choices
The operator can revoke the application's Google access through Google Account connections and can follow the data deletion instructions to remove locally stored application data.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
